I read the book, by Alice Sebold, years ago and absolutely loved it. When I heard the film was being made I didn't think much of it because a lot of books die that way. But looking at the trailer now, I'm VERY excited. It's written and directed by Peter Jackson who did a brilliant job with Lord of the Rings trilogy bounce

Here's the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQ_4f_fb91M

I don't know how it'll turn out, but surely Peter Jackson wouldn't screw a book up. Cool

Yup, I watched the film too.
Obviously they missed out some parts, but the film as a whole wasn't that bad. I LOVED the directing, it was amazing. The film overall was beautiful to watch.

I totally agree with you Pegasus! They missed out some parts, but I didn't mind, it was an AWESOME movie to watch! It was beautiful! My mom hated it because she didn't read the book and didn't understand the movie! I kept trying to convince her to read it and she won't.

i know! I'm trying to convince her. It might be working. She got into Jodi Picoult and Nicholas Sparks because I told her she should read them, but since she's already seen the movie, this one may take a little convincing Razz
